  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Seat Tattoo

2premo

Husqvarna
Pro Class
i am having a new seat cover sewn for my 93 360
problem where do i find the Husqvarna tattoo or stencil or whatever they use to put the white letters on with
the seat will look like the original except where there is a cloth type material it will be gripper type instead
but without the lettering will look VERY boring

The logos are silk screened onto the fabric with whatever type of ink formula is best suited for the kind of material that it is.

Ok
so would that work on the vinyl type material used on the seat cover
i have no idea

we used to silk screen stuff in high school, t-shirts and the like. you could do pretty fine detail on a seat cover i bet but i dont think it would be worth making the equipment unless you going to do a run of them..maybe you could just make a stencil, attach it tightly and spray?

is the OEM stuff silkscreen
it typically holds up pretty well
i plan to do about 6 or seven 93 2 stroke seats unless someone here is interested
i have an upholsterer with a new seat cover, he unstiched an OEM and made a pattern
the dealer i borrowed it from was interested in having a spare and i would not mind throwing one in a box for a future replacement

i asked him about the size and he said it could be changed but the lettering is wrong
still might buy it and see how hard it would be to change and duplicate for my needs
