• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Seat Concepts Seat - Pics

Husqvarna
AA Class
I ordered my new seat from Seat Concepts & it arrived in Oz 6 business days later. :applause: Cost was $201AUD delivered, which I think is a bargain.

It looks excellent quality but I haven't had a chance to test it yet. I had an auto timmer fit it as I don't have a heavy duty stapler or talent, and they did a great job. A few pics are attached.

Ditto, might be the best single investment I've made for the bike. The customer service is as top notch as the product.

Yep, still loving my Seat Concepts TE511 seat and it is holding up great and works fantastic. Could not be more happy.

Ordered mine the other day, should be here Monday. I'll have to run to Harbor Freight and pick up a $20 air staple gun...

I went with all carbon fiber, since I've got an SMS and don't wanna feel so glued to the seat.

I am now the proud owner of three of their seats.
I like to do most of my off road riding up on the pegs, but those seats are soooo comfy....+

Went for first decent ride today since fitting the new seat. Spent around 6 hours in the saddle and its much more comfortable than stock. My arse would be a little sore on the old one within an hour or so, whereas it felt pretty good for most of today.

For the price they'd have to be one of the best bang for the buck mods available and I should've done it on day one rather than enduring 6,000kms on the stock one over the last nine months. Thanks forum Members for putting me onto this excellent product.

Put it on last night, haven't ridden it yet, but it definitely spreads the load a lot better.
Went with all carbon fiber on the SMS.

Just ordered mine, I have the worst case of monkey-butt Ive ever had after yesterdays ride.

Got my first ride in on the Seat Concepts kit for my TE250... I got the firm foam it is plush on my ginormous behind. Especially since I was switching back and forth with my brother and my TXC511 with stock seat.....the 511 is good at encouraging you to stand up :-)

Super interested in on of these for my 610, but here's what's probably a dumb question...what happens to the saddle release at the rear? It looks like the Seat Concept cover covers it up, but then how do you take the saddle on and off? Or am I just looking at pictures of other models that don't have the same saddle release as the 610?

All the pics above are from the 630 seat, which has a key release in the side cover. The 610 seat cover and foam is clearanced for the seat latch.

Edit to add, you'll have to glue down the cover in the latch "pocket" with something like Gorilla Glue, then clamp it with a C-Clamp and a large washer til it dries. This will make sure the latch handle will clear the seat cover.

Just did one for my 04 CR125 redo. These years are super slim which is cool but slightly to slim for me. I had them do one up slightly wider and taller and could not be more happy. Awesome seat.

also have one on my Te511 and GG250 and all are fantastic. Perfect foam and cover IMHO. Never bought seats before now want a SC on all my bikes. they are that good.
