  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc Seat Concepts Seat for WR 125

I have had 2 seats done by them, very comfortable indeed. I would either send my seat pan in to them and just have them do a custom seat or call them to verify before I ordered the 250 kit. It will come back perfect if you have them do it rather than using a kit that "May" not fit ideal. Their turn around time is pretty quick as well. Made my 310 an all day rider. Thinking about sending them my Berg seat as well.

Call them I'm sure they have it as it is a the same as a bunch of other seats on husky's. Fantastic seats, I have three and love them.

I've got one that they put together on my WR and it is very comfortable. My 55 year old butt could not go back to a stock seat. Highly recommended!

I think their listings are for seat kits, foam and or covers.

Call or email Bryon/BMP, if the TE is the same as your newer WR.

If not, you may just have to send your seat to them for a custom job, or try yourself to get the TE foam/cover to work

I have an older WR, so for sure I had to send mine in

I pulled the trigger on the new Seat Concepts seat. After an initial 45 minute ride this evening I would say that this is looking like a must-have aftermarket purchase. My butt loves this seat!

A check of the Husky parts catalogues revealed that my 2012 WR125/144 has an identical seat to the 2008 and later TE 250/310, so I placed an order for the foam and cover for that bike.

This is the first custom seat I've had so don't really have anything to compare it to except the OEM seat, which as we all know isn't the most comfortable for long rides.

Thank you everyone for the advice :applause:

Is it any lower than stock?

I ordered their standard seat, and its maybe a centimetre or two lower than the stock one.

My guess is this could be deliberate. The Seat Concepts seat is wider than the stocker (particularly in the middle and at the back), splaying your legs a little which makes it harder to reach the ground.
