  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

How do you guys like the Endro ST tires? They look like they have a really nice tread pattern on them. Especially the front. Lots of traction there.

It is a great tire but I am currently in love with the Motoz Enduro IT for EVERYTHING. In fact the enduro IT front and terrapactor rear is unbeatable combo for me.

Enduro IT front...

FYI,
for fyi only and not good to ride on pavement at all and it's a no compromise tire.
Pirelli MX soft 410 rear is the closest thing to a full paddle tire yet still a "knobby" it's a full on MXGP sand track tire. Great for dunes and sand track only.

^^ +1 Check out the pirelli sand tire. Awesome traction in sand, and still usable on regular dirt.

dirt i think we should get 3 differant tires and write a reveiw on them next time we go to pismo and glamis... i think it will take 2 trips so we can test in 2 types of sand. i talked to your sis about it and she liked the idea.. look and find wich three you want to test and we can all ride each tire so we have three opinions, we can even throw my dad in the mix so we have 4 testers that can ride decent

sounds good to me, ill let you reserch and pick the three... its hard for me to check them out till i get home :)
