• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Revloc Dyna Ring for the 07 and older DOHC bike ready to go...

My husband said he called and talked to Revloc and there isn't an ETA on the Dyna for the 2010 TXC because they can't find a bike to test it in. They thought it would be the same as the 310, but it wasn't the case. Wish I was in CO, I'd drop my bike off just to get this thing rolling. I just can't shovel out $900 for a Rekluse Core.
 
I sent them an e-mail offering up my 2010 TE 510 for testing since I live only a few miles fro them, but have not hear a word from them!?!?!?


I'm hoping it's because of the holidays.

excellent. I think it is the holidays. If you want to send me your info I will pass it on. Also we did send him a X-light clutch basket. Will investigate further.
 
Kelly, I think I'd be very interested in that x-lite version when it's available. Should be a good seller for them with the new 310 using this motor too:cheers:
 
Thanks Dan, passed you info on and hope we can get this sorted ASAP. I'm sure Motosportz Mike sent him an X-light basket to work from.
 
No and Revloc is had a drive plate issue making some of the other ones slip a little. We are on hold as of now.
 
That sucks. I may have to spring for a REKLUSE CORE EXP if they don't get something figured out on it soon.
 
Called again today and still no bike to test a system in so no ETA. :(

In related bad news, we also called Rekluse to see if they planned to adapt either their Rekluse Trail or Pro to the X-lite and they said not for at least a year.

So, it looks like its a Core or bust. I feel like such a victim.

I talked to the Dyanring guys a while back because Kelly said they needed a test bike. Keep in mind I live 5 miles from them.

Did not seem interested and despite me leaving my contact info w/ them have not heard a thing since.

I suspect that w/ the new bikes out they do not want to spend the money on a limited run.

Too bad!
