  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Does anyone know if this will work on the 125?

I know they have not even finished the KTM version yet so Husky is probably far down the list. But I think the Honda CR125 clutch plates fit the Husky 125, and I think the Honda 250f uses the same clutch, and I think the Honda Dyna Ring is already done. Soooo would that mean that the Honda one would work on a Husky?

If it is true that the clutch feel is exactly the same as a standard clutch I might be interested. I assume this means it could still be pulled in at max RPM (stuck throttle). I really want the LHRB more then an auto clutch but this seems like the easiest way to get it.

I have asked revloc via email today, haven't gotten an answer back yet. Will post when I know.

The EFM auto clutch works great. A little more money and you can't bump start, but is that an issue with a 125? I realize the clutch doesn't feel like a standard clutch but it does disengage at any rpm. The only down side to the EFM clutch is you need to shorten the clutch cable or lengthen the adjuster on the Rekluse 2 finger clutch lever.

The EFM is available now too.

I was going to go EFM for sure, I just checked out the dyna ring video and it looks pretty cool too!

Poopy,

I agree it looks very cool. I just wonder when we can get one for the 125. I really like the EFM, but any time there are more options it is a good thing.

I am almost certain on the clutch plates. I seem to remember when FBF had cluth fibers on ebay that they were listed for the Husky and Honda 125. I don't know if there is a revlock for theHonda 125 but I am thinking the 250f is the same. It sounds like PJW has asked so we will see what the people at revlock have to say.

I am not that fond of auto clutches which is why I have not looked into the EFM. But if the revlock does retain normal clutch feel that is a big plus. Also it is a good price and the stock parts do not need to be modified.

Called Revloc today...

He would gladly accept anyone's complete clutch pack to see if it would work...I'm seriously considering sending him mine... just call and let him know it's on the way.....

I'm struggling to see why you would need this on the most unstallable bike made :excuseme:

have to agree, i ride a wr250, and have no issues at all, and i am recovering from a poorly right arm, plus plate

Still struggling with strength, but i still find it hard to stall??

Once you get used to a LHRB on one bike you might as well bite the bullet and put it on all your bikes. It is really hard to jump back and forth between bikes and not hurt yourself if they differ.

I personally love the feel that the LHRB gives you and hate it when I have to use the pedal.

WOW! What caused that? What damage did you do besides the obvious zipper.

lack of concentration, double rutted, 7mph off on hard mud, bad landing, just unlucky.

Broke both wrist bones in both arms, broke noise, then to top it off i got carple tunnel syndrome where the muscle dyes, so they had to cut me open and leave me to bleed for two days

on the mend now ill post a pic of it now, oh i also have a 5 inch titanium plate
