  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Rekluse on a 2012 TE 310

I was just wondering how many of you have opted to install a Rekluse Core EXP 2.0 on your TE310's and if so how do you like it? I have had two Rekluse type products, a Pro Model on a heavily moded CRF 280X, it was ok but I hated the fact that I lost the stock clutch feel. And a Rev Lock on the a KTM 300, it worked great but it really tamed down the power on that bike, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing on that bike, but I don't want to tame the power down on the TE310 it is just perfect the way it is now.

-From what I read this model will retain stock clutch feel, is that true? Can I fan the clutch coming out of corners, and when I want to loft the front wheel?

-Will it soften the power of my bike?

Thanks!

I have one on my 2011 TE250 reason i ride extreme technical riding, plus i have small hands and i got a lot of forearm pump. Yes you can us the stock clutch coming out of corners and loft the front wheel. as far as the taming of the power yes and no. It depends on how you ajust the EXP. I went from med weight to heavy weight, plus you can ajust the instill gap. I just brought a 2012 TXC310 and I will us it on that. I like the fact that if you weack and the bike will not shut off and it helps on the deacceleration and fire out. I i feel that its taming the power to much, Rekluse makes a kit to soften the clutch up, but like i said i ride very technical terrain, but if you don't i would get it and you don't get forearm pump. Hope this helps.
