Well, I bought my wr250, I took my carb apart, cleaned it ( the pilot jet was plugged solid), and it brought it to life big time. Loads of crisp power and great throttle response. But, I seem to have fuel dumping out of the overflow ever now and then. I took the float needle and seat out during the cleaning. The seat's o ring didn't look the greatest. Could that be the problem? Fuel passing through the back side of the seat even while the float has the needle pushed up properly? Also, please don't make fun ( this is a dumb moment for me), I should've been paying more attention, but I'm not sure if I put the floats in right or upside down ( again, I should have been paying more attention). Any of u guys know if the high side of the black floats points up or down? Or could my problem just be the needle seat outer o ring? Any help is greatly appreciated. I can't wait to get this bike A-1. Thanx.
