Hi,
I recently acquired an 09 TE310 which works well for me. I have a friend who is thinking about getting a KTM 350 exc-f (new, but he's not rich), he's a fairly big guy and rides mostly technical single-track. I'm thinking the Husky 310 may be good for him too, but which year model 310? I'm seeing the 09's and 10's for sale pretty cheap with very low mileage (the weight difference is not a big factor for us).
My large block 310 has enough usable torque at lower-mid rpm's... how do the new xlite 310's torque compare at those same lower rpms?
In other words, for those who have ridden both, does the old design give up much low end to mid power compared to the new one?
Thanks
