• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I thought we should have a new thread for the production 900. I think it is awesome. nice blend of 449/511 and 630 styling...

Looks light and nimble. 2 piece ,2 level front fender is different. Wonder how well it would travel for a road trip?

I like it. Not crazy about the name though. At least it doesn't have "Nuda" stickers all over it. I'll sell my Duc Hypermotard S for one of these when they become available in the USA.

This is a "marmite" bike (uk joke) , you will either love it or hate it !

Personally I think its the ugliest thing I have ever seen !!!

I Would have prefered to have seen the Engineers get the TE/TC range sorted before they "branch" out .

But good luck to them !

Nuda? Seriously? Are they going to call the handlebars tits?

"So you get on top and grab hold of the tits. If you twist the nipple here, she starts to go. If she bucks too much, you need to work this other nipple over here..."

My apologies if that is a little too blunt...

These minimalist side numberplates are out of control. Where am I going to put my hare scramble numbers?!?!?!?!?!?

If I were looking for a street bike right now it would be a tossup between this and the Ducati Streetfighter.

Must be kinda heavy if it's got dual discs in the front. anyone seen a weight figure?

That's a nice but mild mannered video clip. Wheelies are good but they need to get a video done with one of their pro supermoto racers hacking that bike sideways into a turn, exiting with a tire smoking power slide. That would generate some excitement, kind of like what Ducati/Ruben Xaus did during the Hypermotard debut a few years back.

I completely agree. Take the ball and RUN HuskW! Talk about a break out if this bike doesn't suck!

I like it! I have always like the naked street bikes the best. To bad they didn't do the exhaust tip in the gun sight like the 630 Arrow's. A nice red Husky H/gunsight sticker would look nice up under the tail AND the front fender.
