  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pro Circuit for TXC

A Class
I am installing a T4 stainless full system on my TXC 511. Am curious if anyone has tried one yet and what the outcome was. Should be here today or tomorrow. I will give updates as soon as I get it on:-)

You are in Evansville??? That is where I am from, mom and dad still live there. I called Eville Superbike to ask about a leftover 11 TXC511 and they wanted a ridiculous price and setup charges. I am going to buy one closer to here in AZ I guess. Where do you go riding out there??? I will be making a trip to see mom and dad later this summer, I am thinking about bringing my bike with me. Let me know if you need a riding partner??? PM me.

Rode with the. We pipe yesterday. Huge difference although I think my air of needs opened up a little now. Will be fine tuning with JD 6x tuner, a lot of popping and some backfiring. Mainly when chopping the throttle. Still very quiet, right on par with stock Akro. If anyone has opened up there air box I could use a little guidance on where and how much to do. Thanks ahead of time. The pipe has really woke my bike up, can't wait for some rain to get a better feel on some real dirt. Thing spins like crazy on this baked out hard pan Ive been riding on. 106 degrees F yesterday.

I also added a 53 tooth rear superspocket to the rear, in place of the 51. What a difference, way more lugging ability in 1st gear. Still not overly low geared though. Wondering if dropping a tooth in the front would be over kill. Loving the changes, bike doesn't flame out near as much. Still does occasionally when wheelieing over an obstacle and chopping the throttle. Definitely have to be ready or half expecting that on slow trails. Any input either good or bad would be appreciated. I am just learning and have plenty of dumba$$ mistakes to make. Thanks

Maybe consider Dynojet tuner...more $$ than the JD tuner but heard they are a little better from a certain race team.
