Husqvarna
Pro Class
One hot day...race start at 1pm, right in the heat of the day...
He is back on the stock 125 setup with a fresh cylinder and a new piston. Seems to like it best, works for me.
They run the A, B and C riders at the same time and cut the C riders out after two hours. Ended up being a two lap, two hour event for the C guys.
Andy had 12 bikes on the 200 'C' line, but I'm not sure of the total count for the C class.
He got off the line good and was second into the woods...It would take and hour before I would see him again. He came thru in third and back a little ways, but on the gas...
Andy said the guy that got in front of him off the line went down in the second corner and he had clear trail with someone right on his tail. After a mile or two he said it got quiet behind him and he kept charging.
At the first major hill there was 3 lines to pick with a blind turn at the top...he picked the middle...said it looked good at the bottom. Around the blind corner there was three bikes tangled up with no way around, he had to back down some, turn around, go down and find another line...by that time a lot of people went by...could never make the time up...
He ended up 3rd in class, but not down too far...and 4th overall. The 200 class is pushing to the front!
Did I mention this was in coal country on a hot and dusty day!!
He was digging stuff out of his eyes for a day or two...
Doesn't he look like he's really enjoying himself.
The 125 ran good and consistant, which is something I hope holds for a while...
Next up, Lots of practice riding and the AMA National in NY.
Special Thanks to the sponsors...Toy Tech Cycles, KB5 Industries, Cycra Handguards, Gaerne Boots, One Industries, RK Chain, Wiseco Pistons, EVS, Cafe Husky and Montana Motoz.
