I bought an 09 TE310 with about 650 miles on it. The rear suspension is great, the forks... not so much. I changed the oil to amsoil light 5 (more like a 2.5 weight) and it helped, but still some weird feeling issues for the kind of blitzed-out trails I ride. When I dumped out the old oil an o-ring fell out with the oil. Hmmm, it seems someone was not too careful during assembly.
So, I decide to revalve the compression stacks, and whoa... the first stack is on the verge of falling apart...the binding bolt is loose.
Worked on forks for many years, never seen that happen before.
