• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

PNW ride this weekend - Gifford 08-29-10

PC.

Husqvarna
AA Class
** Edit: change of date. The ride is now on Sunday. Meet at Rosie's restaurant in Woodland @ 8am.**

Throwing out the invite for anyone interested. Heading up Sun. morning for a long day ride.

We'll have some slower, but technically good riders. The pace wont be frantic but there will be some pucker factor going on. Any takers?

I'm sure the usual suspects will be up there. I will be at the beach family camping this weekend. Have a good time

Not sure yet.
We're at the mercy of Jake this weekend and its his call.

Paging Jake.... come in Jake. Over.

Tim comes from Camas so it might be EZer for him to meet you at the trail head if he heads up the gorge and then north.

You should be able to edit the title - edit -> advanced

Let me know if that is not the case, with exact wording of what you want, and the title will be changed.

Thanks Dean! That worked great.

Tim,
bottom of trail 80. Above lower falls.

We'll be there around 9 or so.

Sunday works better for me any way.99% sure we can make it

Nice!

503-528-4631 is my cell. Call me Sunday morning and let me know if we should wait for you or not.
My name is Brandon.

We've got a decent sized group and some of the guys are GP virgins, so it'll be an easier loop. At least that's what Jake says, but he has a different definition of easy than most riders. See ya!

I think it might rain at the beach

Actually i think your right but this is a family camping plan with others there is no way I am getting out of :) plus i have been camping and riding the last few weekends and well be doing so again the weekend after this.

I'm planning on eating. Jake says train leaves Rosies @ 8, so I'm planning on getting there around 7:30 so I have time to get my grub on.

Hey Tim,

Looks like we missed you somehow. If you guys decided to do your own thing I don't blame you and hope you had a good time. We had quite a large group going on.

If not and you didn't have a good day, I am sorry and owe you a good ride.

Later,
