• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

So what do you guys think of your Pivot pegz?i have never used them myself.i have sold them and they look stout!a customer of mine from AUS is interested and would like some feed back.bring on the good ,the bad and the ugly!thanx in advance, dan

I have had mine for two years. I love them, have thrown my bike to the ground many times with no issues. The feel is smooth, i have zero negative reactions.

I feel I have more control with the brake and shifter when standing plus they're easier on my ankles.

I bought them for my kx250 and moved them (after a bit of grinding) to my wr125. Besides helping to get my size 12 boots under shifter they also don't seem to wear out boot soles as fast. 4 years old and still functioning perfectly even when I clean them with a pressure washer. I tear them down and grease them once a year. They are a good solid product. They take a couple of rides to get used to feeling.

I have them and love them. Really helps the surface of your boot stay in contact with the peg thus easer to hang on

Well, I am said Australian and have enjoyed the feedback so far. Thanks Dan for starting the thread, oh and btw did I mention that Dan and Ann and MotoXotica are great!!
Might have to treat myself to a pair after Christmas!

Those things look interesting. I think I could easily cover the rear break in a wheelie with them.. I'll buy a set :)

I absolutely love my pivot pegs! I was a little unsure of them my very first ride, but on the second ride I was hooked. They pivot just enough to relieve stress on your ankles on a long day of riding. Sometimes my feet will slide around a bit on them when they get muddy or wet...I probably just need to sharpen them up a bit as they were a used pair. They are now on my must-install list along with a Rekluse.

Anybody try these and not like them? Also I stand on the pegs alot at high speed when slabbing it to relieve the butt burn. Any issues foreseen standing up with these at 75mph?

They work best standing IMO. You get used to them quickly and they just become part of the bike. You don't really notice them till you ride your buddies bike with standard pegs. Then you just want your own bike back.:D

Just another +1 I thought they were a little spendy, but now that I've used them I'll put them on every bike I have from now on.
