• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

PFR pipes

Bigbill

Husqvarna
Pro Class
I ordered and paid for this pipe in May. No pipe and muffler yet.

Sorry I haven't been around had two bad accidents. Broken ribs, bad shoulder, neck, upper back and lower back. Not good healing slow.

thats no good to hear...what happened?

about the pipe, have you called them yet? thats a pretty unacceptable wait unless they stated a delay like that up front

September ship date. Nothing arrived he says it's shipped. I'm here 24/7 sick so I should of seen it. Now I want a refund ill buy a pipe from someone else.

Sorry to hear about your accident Bill, get well soon.
The PFR pipe I bought for my 79 390 took about 7 months to arrive. They are very slow at making pipes and shipping them, it will arrive....eventually

I fell off the tractor and the rear tire chewed my ribs as I reached up to shut it off. Then I shut the fuel off. About 15 years ago I broke my ribs in the same spot on the quad. It was always sore in this area. I hope it heals right this time.

My son(39yo) told me to wear my dirt bike gear on the tractor, the little punk Lmao.

Wow, you know I was going to start a thread asking where you been?

Consider yourself very lucky you are still with us****************************************!

Hope you recover ok and get back to being able to move around good.

Ouch, that sounds like it hurts !
If your lad keeps making helpful suggestions ..... tell him to drive the tractor :)

Have you been happy with the pipe? Any performance gains?

PFR is Eric Cook of Maico Only. I will never, ever, for as long as I live, ever buy a product or pay for a service from him. He acts like his customers have to wait in line for the honor of him selling them something and he NEVER answers the phone, you have to be local so you can walk in his shop door. I know people who have shipped him engines to rebuild and 7 years later they dont have their engine, or their money back.

oh boy, i didnt know what pfr actually was...i had heard stories about how slow or non responsive that is...

I'm under the impression that they are two separate company's . In two separate locations. However they are very near each other, and Eric commonly picks up parts from PFR to sell threw his Maico Only business.

PFR might be in a different building and a separate company from Maico Only, but it is owned by Eric Cook so expect the same service.
