  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

PCV for '14 TE310

MZee

Husqvarna
AA Class
I recently ordered & received a Power commander, ordered for TE310 red head - '14 model. Sticker on package says PCV, 2010 Husq TCX250/TE250. Questions: At what year did Husky change injector brand? Is the injection system & programming same for 250 & 310? The main Q: is this the correct PCV? (other number on sticker : 23-006) A call to Dyno jet - say latest husky 310 PCV they produced is for 2012 model. (back to question of the model year injector brand changed?) Can anyone with PCV experience please help me determine if this is the correct PCV?

Thanks

The 2011-2012 310s had mikuni fuel injection. The 2013-2014 310s had keihin fuel injection. At the very least I believe the plugs are different.

talk/pm to Johnrg. He has a '13 TE310 with a PC5 and has posted many versions of his maps.

23-011 is the PCV you want. It is for a 2012-2014 TC 250.

The 2012 TC 250 is the first of the new "Red Head" style bikes. It wasn't until 2013 that the same came for the TE and TCX.

The 2012 TC is VERY similar just with a few different connectors. You need to cut the pickup coil connector off and solder in parallel rather than use the supplied connector.

The TC uses 2 4 pin square connectors, one which is correct and one that is not correct (one is white one is black)

The TE and TXC's have a 4 pin square and a flat 2 pin white connector. The PVC would plug directly into the 4 pin square connector, BUT THAT IS THE WRONG CONNECTOR. You need to tap into the 2 pin flat connector to the 2 wires in the correct way.

I have pictures ones you get that far.

Metthew 525 Is 100% correct it will work with a little work and a its a BIG improvement.
I did my 13 TE320R and its money well spent.
