• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HO ! HO ! HO ************************************************************************************************************************!!

Over ten thousand names in customer base; printed out that many address labels. We have been going thru them 1 at a time cutting it down to one thousand.Sorry if we don't qet everyone a card but all are invited to the party Friday. The 14th hope to see you there.

I will be there by mid afternoon so I can be first in line for Dave's famous hot dogs and burgers...I hear he marinates them with a secret stash of Castrol he keep under his workbench in the shop.

I think Bill should sleep on a cot in his office after this one so he isnt late for work on Saturday ;)

The only thing you are likely to get wired on at this party is Pepsi though.

One of my customers has an mobile Espresso stand hes parking it by the front door and for a couple dollars {I guess is a great deal, regular coffee guy here} you can slurp down your favorite premix.Inside the door food and drinks are on me.Hope to see ya all here.

Sounds like a bargain compared to the $$$$$$$$ I spend on your coffee (sure I get red motorcycles included with your coffee, but sometimes I even have to brew it myself)

Come for the party, or come for the $2 coffee, but you dont want to miss this social event of the season ****************************************

The Wife and I showed up had a hot dog, soda, and bought some early holiday goods. My wife complemented on my new rack. Just the right size. Thanks PICT3888.JPG

Another great evening at Bill's Husky Heaven! Good to see lots of people, it looked like Bryon, Don and Adam were running their butts off at the counter, and Diamond Dave smoking up the dogs in the back all night. Also good to chat again with a couple folks I met and rode with at China Hat (Dave and Ryan). This is only about half of the people that were there, I didn't get too camera-happy.

Lot of old guys there.

Sweet and I'd have fit in well then ... Nice gesture BMP on having a party!

Is that Bill in the black hoodie with red letters on front with the black cap in the last picture? I purchased a 02 CR250 from him in 2003 and not sure if I have ever been back ... Thirteen years later and all other parts and bike I have purchased from him have been over the web and sight unseen ... Great guy to do business with for sure as this party shows ... He seems a little like Monty Hall ... He's always ready to make a deal it seems ...
