  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc P3 Walt Smith 165 pipe guard

My guess is that he could have sold at least 50 of these in the last year if he would actually produce them in a timely fashion. That may still be a drop in the bucket compared to other products so that it is a back burner item.

That doesnt sound good Walt.
He is pretty slack on communications I must admit. I have tried emailing him with no response.
Not good buisness.

Thanks mate
I have tried emailing Eric again to find out when it will be ready.
See if I get a response. If not I will ring bills.
Thanks again Walt

Digging up a old thread here as I would like to put my experiance with Eric / P3
Sent a email on the 27th of January to Eric regarding the guard for the fatty on the 165- Reponse was nearly instant, Eric said he had none in stock but would go and make me one straight away and ship it to the UK no problem so I paypaled him the money.
On the 3rd of Febuary I recieved a email that the guard was posted and on its way to me in the UK, Now you cannot get much better service than that now can you, So A big round of:applause: is called for for Eric on all accounts
Guard arrived in the UK on the 12th and winged it way down to myself without a hitch, I was not charged any import duties and the guard was delivered straight to my door
Guard is a work of art and definatly the best pipe guard I have ever come across, So just want to say thanks to Eric for a great product and briliant service :notworthy::thumbsup:
Guard fits like a glove and almost covers the dents I have already put in the fatty that seems to be made of tin foil
