• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I had to post this Scot "Burner" Burnworth on the Keith Lynas OSSA Phantom at Day in the Dirt 2014, rear mount cam!! Full Viva Espana sound, wicked cool stuff. Old School 2 stroke lovers rejoice.
Watch Scott Burnworth and his factory Ossa Phantom (from the rear) battle with Sweden's Lars Lindstrom on his 1975/6 (almost vintage) Husky big bore at Red Bull Day in the Dirt Glen Helen 2014 vintage class 11-29-2014

Cool Video! It seems the only time that thing really hooked up and it pulled a load down on that engine was when he hit the short stretch of pavement each lap. Guys ate a lot of roost of that Ossa and She sounded bad ass.

Awesome! That was like watching a gun mounted camera from WWII. A bunch of noise followed by a stream of bullets (roost) being sprayed back and forth across his enemies. Racing really is like war. haha.

all i can say is that says a lot for good ol fashion two smoke makes you kinda wonder if we need the latest LC/POWER VALVED super bike of course Scott had a lot to do with that but dang that bike looked and sounded STRONG blowing right passed newer stuff

I really miss my husky cr390 now. That rippin reminds me of it.

You just invented something with the rear mounted camera in the sunlite at the front of the bike it's called shadow riding. We see your shadow on the dirt.
