• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Open letter to Husqvarna NA

If anyone sends me a PM about shooting anyone with a shotgun, it will be dealt with in the legal system. Just being up front so certain people are aware of the potential ramifications of their actions. I have a very low tolerance for this shit.

WTF? do we really need your pissing matches in every thread? Tired of it.

What was this thread about again?
Do we need a basement? Might be entertaining at times and get the crap (like this post) out of the information etc.:excuseme:

If you have ridden bikes for a long time and checked out both brands you may find that the Husky was already a better deal and a better engineered product then the orange crush that everyone is so brainwashed.

Your dreaming if you believe that. I own both and the Husky isn't close to a KTM. I have owned many KTM's and have never felt disappointed or let down. I own a 2011 TE 250 that I feel was one of the worst purchases I have made in my life. I can't even sell the p.o.s. that is practically brand new because it runs like shit.

I own two racing KTM's, a 300 WXC and a 525 MXC (was 3 but I sold one). The only Husky that even remotely competes with them is the 511. My 511 that is modified and motor wise, destroys the 525. Suspension wise, both my KTM's are superior. But that can be changed with Shivers and Ohlins. I think it's apples and oranges (pun intended).

Wow, so I go mess around with my RC airplanes for a day and this thread turned quite nasty.

I believe that people get butt hurt easily but this letter was not meant to have that effect.

I think that since many posts have removed any sort of credibility of the initial thoughts I was trying to convey, perhaps its time to put this one in the round file.

Mods...do what you think is best

I believe you are correct. Feel free to try again if you want.
