• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

One more for AJP

Wow you went from not sure how you'd do with Beta to carrying a second brand. Sounds like youre do well! You're the best Beta dealer on this site! ;). Congrats on the new brand, I'm sure it'll do really well out there if people can see it

Yes best of luck. I really like dealers the care enough about the products they sell to learn about he products they sell. I really shouldn't know more about a car, truck, or bike than the person selling it.

As you know I already knew this but congrats officially. Not sure the culture there but here people have been very responsive to it. All three I have presold are going to guys with a pile of other bikes and want a play bike to ride with their kids, take camping, explore and general trail ride on. Perfect bike for that. Small, EZ, E-start, quiet, low maintenance, well equipped. Great bike to have around the camp sight to explore and goof around on.

I am getting a PR5 for myself and plan the ride the wheel's off it like a full on bike and obviously use it as a demo.

I am having to retrain the riding public here, culture is if you don't have a KTM, you don't count until you get a KTM. Come a long way in the first year getting respect for Beta.
Next job is to get the word out about AJP by riding one and showing you can buy a quality bike for less than current $8-10,000 if you just want to trail ride.
I have already had a call from a guy from out of state that has a cabin in the mountains close to us that would like a PR4 to be able to ride around while on vacation.

These bike remind me of the late seventies and early eightys jap enduro bikes.Cool and low seat height but in a modern package.
