• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I just went on the site and saw something of interest....the plastic upper frame guards in white. the white paint on my 08 TE is starting to wear through to the metal frame and this would dress it up nicely. Does anyone here in the state have these for sale?
I've got them on my bike, got them from RD husky in Sydney and they might have the pro grip top your looking for

Motosportz got me my Progrip jersey and they had the Husky camelback in stock. Mike also told me he has some of those frame guards in stock. I guess they are kind of hard to get as Husky quit making them! Good luck and thanks ALL! If not a factory Husky rider, I sure as hec will look the part****************************************************************************************************************************************************************!

Hey!! With all this talk about this top, I want to see photos of you with your Husky colours on.....

OK, Got my progrip top and Husky Camalback today! I will try to get some pics. But hey do not forget I have Husky socks to! The perfect way to Pi-- off those guys riding their orange piles! Thanks everyone for the support and thanks Mike at Motosportz! My wife gave me crap, because if youv'e never seen these socks before, shes like oh my god do those socks have Non Slip Husky crowns on the bottom of them, and I'm like why yes they do**************************************** She then said what did you pay for them! I said lets talk about dinner, where ever you want to go. (Thank god for credit cards!!!) Long Live Husqvarna! And for you guys that didn't hold out like I did and jumped ship to Orange SHAME ON YOU!!! I have NEVER owned or will own and only like to use KTM bikes to lauch off of. To my arch rival Mr Jay on your new KTM 250, like I told you at Huntersville, Fletchman 28, MR Jay 29, GOTYA****************************************!! All you KTM guys on this Husky form, do yourself a favor, trade that bike in (Well sorry you can not at Bill's, because he is awesome enough to not take Ktm's on trade!!!Not even a Polaris with a KTM engine! HA!) Why the orange hate?? Lots of reasons. Remember you have and inferior product to the Husky (in my opinion) But it does go too show what PROPER marketing ETC>>> can do.

KTMs are fine, but they're way too much of the popular fad brand for me. I'd rather be the one guy riding a husky at the dirt bike part that day. The most I've ever seen is two other Husky's. It's always a sea of orange or a sea of Honda red. No Husky white and red (or yellow and blue if you're running a tad older hardware).

It makes it easy for people to find me. :) "Just look for the Husky."

Man!!! do you have socks as well???? When she notice, was that all you were wearing or something
lol.gif

And as for KTM I'm in the same bout as you, that brand is not on the top of my list every man and his dog has one. I loved beating them on my 2000 model RMX250

Sounds like a good thought and if I were ever in the porn industry I sure as heck would make sure those Husky socks were part of it!! No I had shorts on at the time she noticed!!! But one day when I was being a baby and thought about jumping ship to a new GAS GAS (because Husky will not update their bigger (250-300) 2-strokes. I looked at those socks and slapped myself in the face!! No SOMEONE and some people have to be loyal to something as that is hard to come buy in these bad times and poor economy!!!

I know how you feel, I was loyal to Suzuki, but they would not make their RMZ 450 street legal. After waiting so long for them to make a weapon to fight against the blue and orange army, and then they bring out RMX 450 and they still did not make it street legal that was the straw that broke my loyalty. After 20 years with Suzuki road/dirt bike it has taken some time to feel comfortable on the Husky but now Im at the same place as I was with Suzuki and I wont be going back

Different bikes work for different people, but I have seen people who give Husky a chance, like them alot and stay with em once they give em a try!!! Sorry about your Suzuki street legal deal, but hec the Husky is a better bike and looks ALOT better!
