First Husky. First post. Just picked up 13 TXC 310r. Who makes a spark arrestor for factory exhaust? What performance improvement are people getting with full Akra exhaust?

Nobody, but I heard the one from the TE fits. I found out after I bought the FMF Q4

I have a 2013 TXC 310 as well. I haven't been able to find a place that has TE spark arrestor insert (part #8000H6855). The places i've tried say its at least 3-5 weeks out before they could get one.
Tried local, some of the big moto shops on-line, Halls, Bill's, etc........ Bill's says there are a lot of Husky parts that have been sitting in customs for a bit...soon to be released. There may or may not be
some in there. Any other shop recommendations for this part??

I guess if i don't find the spark arrestor part soon, i'll dump the leo vince and pony up the $$ for an aftermarket exhaust. Mike, how do you like the FMF Q4??

Yea Mike, how about that FMF Q4. Gonna get one for my '12TXC310. How much lighter is it? And yes the TE S/A slides right in, & it's only about $28 when ya find one.

Contact Leo direct. I just purchased a used X3 system missing the SA. I contacted them, they were able to give me a lot of information found no where on the net. Told me he could get me the SA for 33$

Halls Cycles has them. Order it for a TE model and it goes right in .

I didnt like the Q4. It made the fuel injection "snap" even worse. I went back to stock, much better.

Halls doesn't have them. Called yesterday, and again today. Neither does a dozen other internet sites, nor the husky shops in Utah and Idaho. It seems to be back ordered
everywhere....
Just tried the suggestion of going direct through Leo. He had something for TE models 2010-2012, but wasn't sure it would work for the TXC.
He's sending me that one which is a "X3 PART -36mm THIMBLE SPARK ARRESTOR" and its $49. Its a bit more than the prices on husky part #8000H6855,
so i hope its right. Should have it in a couple days....
Will report back for those that are interested. Mike, do you want to sell yours

Well....i got the part Leo Vince sent me....
Wrong part. Not sure why they were confused as to what i needed. Anyway, just a heads up so someone else doesn't waste their time.
The spark arrestor insert (#8000H6855) seems to be un-obtain-ium for a few more weeks. Ordered a FMF Q4 in desperation since i need something asap
for a memorial day weekend trip to Arizona.
Thimble on bottom is what they sent me....

You take out the big one and put in the little one, done.

Yep, they sent the right one. I almost want to put a screen on the end of the quiet insert, just to see how it would work... And the little part with the screen is 8000h6855

Sorry i wasn't more explicit. Nope, its wrong. The thimble they sent is a different diameter...much smaller
