• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Northwest XC

It was pretty cool seeing Huskys on the minutes ahead of me and on minutes behind me at China Hat. Definatly seeing more heros on the trails these days:thumbsup:

I am entered in the OMRA XC series, but I've yet to race the Husky. I had a minute for the Hat' ISDE, but gave it up to a rider on the waiting list. I went and trail rode instead.

There were a couple guys at camp 25 with Husky's who were interested in my 300. Was that anyone here?

There was a few Husky's at the Rd 1 opener at Eddieville. I remember befriending a younger guy with an 09' WR250 from the Grants Pass area.
I rode the Yami for that event as I couldn't bring myself to subject my brand new WR to the E'ville quickcrete (aka mud).

The 2009 WR250 was Gage. I rode a TC450 at Goldendale and China Hat, but my YZ250 at Timber Mountain. Dave rode his 2008 WR250 at all the events and Gages little brother just got a Husky CR125 and did the first half at China Hat.....:applause: Yea, within a 5 minute window we had 3 Huskys! :notworthy:

WAAAAY in the back..... 649, 651, 652..... It was nice the 2nd half, both of us were alone on our minutes, so the dust was not as bad. No Heppner for me, going to race Vintage MX at Eugene, alot closer for me.

Oh yeah.... Gage. Thanks for the reminder.
I'm sure I was BS'ing with you too then. There was 3 men and 2 women (I think) sitting in an enclosed trailer and I came over and started talking Husky.

I wish I had rode the WR that day. It was slick and the YZ was a handful.

I've got a YZ250 and a Husky too. What's that quoate about great minds!?!?
