• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Does anyone know what percentage of Huskys get sold in N. America
to total Husky sales?

If the sales for N/A are like 25-30% say... and most of us are wanting larger fuel capacity tanks...why is this not an option Husqvarna provides for us?

Maybe the type of riding or the riding area that Europeans have to ride in does not justify a larger tank.

Has this been addressed at any of the meetings?

Please let us know what's going on.

From what I heard we're on our own again for large tanks.

The good thing is the bikes are here and can be used to make the prototypes.

Not likely Husky will get directly involved in big tanks.

Someone will have to commit to a few hundred to get IMS to produce them like Hall's did last year.

Yes I know IMS can and most likely will be making larger tanks for the new models. I grabbed one of the first ones for my 510 back in 08.

But I would like a clear answer from Husqvarna why they won't supply a larger tank.

Are we the only ones looking for one? Is there no one over in Europe that wants one?

Just trying to get all the facts.

In the Cagiva days, NA (US and Canada) was about 15% of production. The number was small though.... 2000 units + or -. I doubt it's much different now. By comparison.... KTM peaked at around 23,000 units sold in the US alone a few years ago.

:eek::eek:

I had no idea KTM sold that many units in N/A.

Anyone know total world sales for Husky?
