• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Our local network is showing a telethon with back to back episodes of Nitro Circus

These guys are crazy...

I've seen Johnny Knoxville on there which helps promote the show. And Travis Pastrana is just plan scary.:lol:

It's good for a couple of laughs but a lot of their antics are just @#$$%.

But I haven't changed the channel yet.:D

:excuseme:

I saw the episode where Knoxville tried to do a backflip on a motorcycle. Never mind that he didn't even know how to ride one. The results were predictable with good ol' Johnny taking a trip to the hospital in an ambulance. Wait'll he gets older, if he manages to. I don't really watch this show very often. It must be one of those things that can be classified as a "guy thing" show.

I’ve seen it few times, it is a funny show

Seems like life without the notion of fear is much more interesting…

I like Travis allot, he strikes me as a good kid at the core
I’ll take him any day of the week over the MetalMilitiaBaboons :D

Love the big wheel sections of the show. When I was a kid my brothers and I would take them to the biggest hills we could find and ride down, we had a lot of unintentional flips. They must have fixed the bearings on the front wheel cause on ours the pedals would keep flying around and if you got your leg hung-up at 40mph it was bad.
