• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

News about the 630

20% gain will be nice! I wonder what this dual overhead cam motor will look like and some weight saving would be nice also!

This is some exciting times for Husqvarna!

wow also minis aaarrrreee back********************************************************************************!!

Eagerly awaiting to see how far they went with it. New frame / less weight? DOHC head sounds good. This believe will be an important model for them and i hope they advertise it far and wide and get the bike out there. The current 610 is about the best kept secret in all of motorcycling. :excuseme:

You are 100% right. I love my bike, but I sure would like a couple farkles. I threw a chain through my case yesterday. So, you know like a case saver for example would be a nice option:banghead:

Got to have my Mini's************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************!!

I talked to an engineer a long time about the 630 and he told me that the biggest challenge they have had with the 630 is SLOWING it down. It makes 75hp real without any problems. They wanted the production version coming in at just over 60hp.

Finally some official word on this!

I anxiously await some key specs!

I'm anxious to see if the 630 will look more like the 450 and 510 SMRs. There's something just a little more sexy about their look..

Sounds like I will need to start saving $ for a 530 kit just to keep up with the 60hp 630.

This is still good news though.

You may have to save more than you thought. As I understand it that 60HP number is in a de-tuned state and there is a lot more to be had once it is de-restricted.

Sounds interesting

the “Urban Cross” of the range sophisticated in design with a 100% Italian style.
I have to say that this line scares me a little for some unknown (SMQ) reason :excuseme:

There’s only one bike in the supermoto field that looks better then the 610 and that’s the Aprilia SXV and even that depends on who you talk too
All the rest looks like dirt bikes with street tires…. Sorry but that’s just how it is…..

Naaa…..I’m playing, that’s not a fact it’s just how I feel…..;);)-->:D

Yup dual exhausts and a front light that looks like it may help see where we're going at night!! Congrats again Husqvarna! :applause::cheers:

I think there may be another model to be announced. I had a 2010 price list sent to me a few weeks ago by accident and it clearly had a 2010 SMT630 listed on it. I dont know what the "T" is, but the model was listed.
