• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

New website, no terra / strada

Im just waiting to see where the mystery 450 to 650 motor ends up cuz it didnt go to Austria.

I was just surprised that they dropped all the prior year stuff for all the bikes. Parts catalogs, manuals, brochures ,etc.

Yeh with my WR300 ive had to come to terms with crap for resale. Thats why Im going to race it another year.

http://www.husqvarna-motorcyclesna.com

Nothing on Terra, Strada.

Am I looking at the wrong site?
That site is now owned by ktm. Not sure who owned it before (Husqvarna vs Husqvarna North America).
It is redirected to the English portion of www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com, with the same technical contact/ownership as the above url which does not have the 'na' at the end.

Legacy information is at http://heroesridehuskys.com which is owned by www.resmarket.com, which according to a press release, is still affiliated with Husqvarna, at least in North America.
That site used to have TR650 information (http://heroesridehuskys.com) but apparently they took that information down. It appears that they want to completely forget about the bike, which of course is never going to happen - because I own one and will make it my personal mission to make sure the bikes are supported.

If the owner of Husqvarna failed to honor warranties what is the best location to mount a class action...presume the US but what state. The local dealer wouldn't be a target ..all they need to do is drop The husky range. We need a lawyer with consumer affairs interest riding a TR650. Like maintaining a well trained standing defends force....just letting the other guy know.

Vodka,

Take a deep breath and sit down.

You're in South Australia, not the USA. USA courts cannot help you.

When you bought your bike you would have received a warranty certificate issued by Paul Feeney Group. PFG were the Australian Husqvarna importer prior to 12/2013. They imported Italian made Husqvarna motorcycles, and supplied parts for Italian built Husqvarna motorcycles and issued and backed the warranty for Italian built Husqvarna motorcycles sold in Australia. Nothing to do with the sale of Husqvarna, or even the appointment of a new Australian importer/distributor for Austrian built Husqvarna motorcycles affects that. PFG will continue to import and distribute OEM parts for the TR650. They will continue to deal with any warranty issues affecting your Australian bought TR650. You don't need to launch any legal action. If you have a problem with your bike, take it to your dealer and they will deal with it and with PFG. If you have any questions about the warranty on your TR650, go to your dealer and ask them, or contact PFG directly.

Our beloved TR650 iù certainly will not be produced. Husqvarna has now been acquired by ktm. Our bike was born instead of the previous acquisition of bmw. Hence it is logical to understand that honda will not mount ever an engine on bmw husqvarna. For spare parts for the law in Europe will have to be guaranteed for 10 years. In America I do not know how it is the law. Husqvarna produces no more in Italy. Those sympathetic to ktm have closed our factory to leave the house more than 240 employees. Here in Italy there has been a lot of activity for this action to say the least disgusting part is that bmw ktm. But as always the money were right. : (
