• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

hello to all of you, buy a sm 610 with 6000 kilometers 06 model.the bike bought 2011 from stok and have yet warranty.everything is fine but I have a problem .. when the bike is stopped I can not put netrual.my sevice guy told me that all husqvarnas doing that.change oils put semi-synthetic and again the same..any help?thank you

Try selecting Neutral when you are still moving slightly and coming to a stop. I find it the easiest way to get the bike in neutral.
Otherwise a Oil change will help however you say you have already done that.

Could be that the clutch cable needs adjusting.

This is what my service guy told me but I want to ask you guys if this is normal?
My cable adjusted by my service guy.

Yes, this is normal. You need to catch neutral as you coast to a stop or you might need to blip the throttle. You might be tempted to adjust some of the slack out of the level to reduce the clutch drag -- you probably should not do that as it can put stress on the ball and shaft that actuate the clutch.

If the slack rapidly increases across a few days, you might have an issue with your cable or your actuator arm -- see this link:

My SM610 didn't drag the clutch until I put a short-pull Arc lever on it. Back with the stock lever and no clutch drag.

I say no, it's not "normal" for the clutch to drag and no, not "all 610's do it."
