As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

i am 6-3 about 245 and the seat kills me...2011 TE630
I recently bought a 2011 SM630 and was looking at the web site that has the seat, it says foam and cover only. So do I have to buy a new seat? I'm a little confused. I love riding my 630 but on the longer rides a better seat would help. Has anyone rode with one of these seats on their bike yet? How is it?
Oh ok, is this an easy process? have you done it yourself or did you have someone professionally do it for you? It looks like just removing some staples and getting the right glue. You remove you're cover and foam from you're seat pan and replace with the new stuff.

It's not real difficult but you need a very high powered staple gun to get good penetration into the seat pan. The local upolstry shop will probably only charge about $25 to fit it up and that might be a good option if you've never done this kind of work before or don't have the right tools.

Any chance you folks could do an extra tall seat for the TE630? I've got a customer that's buying a 630 from us who is 6'7".
Thanks.

How'd it come out?I ordered up a seat kit. A local upholstery shop is going to install it.
