• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Yes, either one will give you the adjustment you need.

Great, so first things first, I'm off to get the power up sorted.

Then i'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust, probably the arrows.

After that I'm getting a PCV and a tune.

Just like to say guys that I picked up my 630 yesterday. It was pretty awesome. Coming from a gsx1400 it feels really light and incredibly flickable. Plenty power but I felt that 1st and 2nd were not quite right for power wheelies.....yet! It did cut out on me a couple of times when I was sitting at lights etc.....and it wasn't keen on to rapid a downchange. Is the slipper clutch a worthy upgrade ?

That´s to be expected. Mine was a disappointment ... until I got it sorted. Still think it´s too heavy to be thrown around.

The random stalling on downshifts and while idling will go away when you install the power-up kit. The difference is dramatic.

If like me, your order will probably get stuck in customs.

I only found out after the guy from JD let me know that it was held at Gatwick
The tracking number JD Send you will work on the Royal Mail site, It then gets changed over to another number that you can then track with Parcel Force.

Think the import was about £40 of Customs charges.

If anyone is ordering an EHS filter from the states maybe we could organise a group buy ?
I am yet to modify the airbox on my 610.
Gav your right buddy just got stung £13.06 customs for EHS universal filter:mad:,£8 of which is a handling fee.Ordering a JD soon

You can save on the O2 sensor plug ... by just leaving the O2 sensor in place. I uip tied the lead under the tank to make it look a bit more legal.

Yup I thought as much :( It's pretty annoying that the handling charges are nearly as much as the VAT!

I'll be looking to mod my airbox soon, might spring for an EHS as want to start getting into Green laneing.
Am trying to convert my bike over to a TE/SM Cross but its a bit of a swine getting bits and it's not as easy going to TE from an SM.
