• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just got the new graphics on and thought Id share and get some feedback. I saw alot of great designs and ideas from others kits on this site and here is what we came up with. Special thanks to The Motorcycle Factory Inc (MFI) and PG Grafx!

Cool looking bike Kyle. I ride with a friend who lives right off the Tower City exit of I81, so we might pass each other sometime in the coal holes - I'll keep an eye out for you. Heck, drop me a line and I'll ride with you if you don't mind a 47 year old washed-up enduro rider :)

Great job Kyle. Combined with your ability and this type of "presentation" and "representation"......you are any dealers and/or sponsors dream.

Hey guys, thanks for the positive responses. It was a little while in the making to get them exactly how we wanted but the end result was worth it! In reference to getting the same graphics with different sponsors, you can certainly call up MFI or PG Grafx and have them do it. It is the "MFI/Husqvarna" package under my name. They really went above and beyond with the cutsom work on this and I think it shows. MFI has both the graphics they have posted in their section on here and the package shown on my bike, which is very simliar, just with a few small tweaks to make the logos show up the best with all the colors involved. I think its important to make sure my sponsors are on my bike and my gear to give them the recognition they deserve for all the hard work and effort they put into my racing. Without help from alot of good people it would be hard to be out there week after week!
