  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc New 2013 wr125

Tikka

Husqvarna
A Class
Hey all, just got myself a new 2013 wr125 to get back into riding, I'm trying to source a decent skid plate, pipe guard and hand guards, I live in Australia, I've done some reading through the various threads on here, and contacted motorsportz for a skid plate, but was told that the 2013 frame has changed? So the plate won't fit. Anyone on here have some recommendations on where to get what I'm after, I've seen the husky ones for sale here in Australia but not sure how good the quality would be. Also am I correct that the bars are 1 1/8 so standard barkbusters won't fit? Cheers

hey Tikka ricochet bashy im running, fairly sure i got it from motosportz mike on here, pm him or email him at mike@Husqvarnaworld.com (www.motosportzhusqvarna.com) - $99US so cheap & good quality/coverage. force, b&b & others in AUS dont do one(trust me i rang around for one 12 months ago!). think 125 frame change was 2009 then minor mods in 10/11 but 09 onwards fits i think. can someone verify this? yeah bars are 1 1/8" oversize so barkbusters will fit-they come with bushings to fit 1" bars also last time i checked. acerbis multiplo i have on my 300 are nice & good quality plus the racetech gladiators on my 165 are also very good & have inlaid graphics in them. i got mine from ballards both times. acerbis slightly more, racetech slightly less than BB but BB are a bit old school looking now i think. the BB jett version IMHO are much better looking! enjoy that 125 piston then get it 165'd-AWESOME!

Contacted mike, he will have some more plates made up in the next few days and will work out shipping, thanks for the replies, I'll check out the Acerbis guards too!
