• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

New 2009 Carbon/Kevlar Husaburg stuff!

BlipBlip!

Husqvarna
AA Class
Ok, my crazy friends over at P3 just produced these nice new Carbon/Kevlar parts for the 2009 Husaburg... Ya I know I’m a Husky guy, but this stuff is sweet and I thought maybe it would be nice if the Burg guys could get the same kind of protection already available to all of us that ride Huskys.

Anyway here’s the heat shield

Baaaaa Bling! Nice, thanks for posting.

Perfect place to put this thread too - as opposed to the tech sections intended for the Husky bikes

Maybe you could get them to build a Pipe Guard For the WR 250 and the 300. I had to modify a E-line to fit my stocker pipe.

very purdy indeed. At $169 for the skid plate it's not outrageously priced either.
Wonder if they make them in white? :D

I was over there yesterday and gave him a lot of s#!t over not having anything for 2-strokes.

Anyway he said get him a 250 and a 125 and he'll get something done ASAP.

BlipBlip.... AKA: HuskyRips

I mailed Lindsey my stock pipe along with a Doma a while back, it was used though and don't blame him for not using it for the mold. Did he say if we get him a new stock pipe that he would make up some?

I don't know... can't speak for him. I just rag on him for producing the wrong stuff. LOL.

When I talk to him in the morning I'll ask... he's still bitter about the election and every conversation turns into a rant!

I asked Eric to push the 125 and 250/300 projects forward and he's in agreement.

Speaking of the election... who's on first? and these two guys are running the country! Yikes!
