I'm running the Tubliss setup on the front and rear of my 250 and the rear on my 510. At the recent Bend PNW gathering I cut my 250's rear Motoz tire on some razor sharp lava rock while running way too low a pressure (5psi)
The cut was about 3/8" long and just off the center knobs at the base of a knob. The bead was still secure with the Tubliss system remaining intact and I rode the bike back to the trailhead 3 miles on asphalt at 25mph no problem. LTR (Les) suggested getting the tire patched internally since it was in otherwise great shape. Got the tire patched, re-assembled the system and the Tubliss inner bladder kept leaking down from its 100psi rating. Oops, guess I got a little sloppy with the tire irons and cut it or something. I emailed Jeff at Neutech asking suggestions such as patching the inner bladder tube or just replacing it. He replied promptly requesting my address and whether or not I thought the red line was cut as well. I requested just the tube, which arrived 2 days later, NO CHARGE!
I now have a tire system holding pressure again with a no-cost replacement inner bladder.
I was expecting to pay for the parts and shipping but instead received a package of free stuff to get me going! Thanks Jeff, I'm passing this forward!
Tubliss may not be for everyone, but they do give a shiite about their customers, regardless.
