• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Need help on E41 code

HeyPlumberMan

Husqvarna
C Class
I have a 2014 TE511 and the bike keeps giving me this code and wont run. It ran good untill i ran out of gas about a mile from my campsite. filled it up and started to ride for about a mile and it shut off. i have tried to reset it from reading other posts but noting seems to work. any ideas?

i had a similar problem look at the electrical connector that comes of the valve cover into the spark plug should have three wires coming off of it those wires arced on my bike because oil overflowed into the airbox and seeped out onto that connector i re wired it and filled the conector with rtv on the side with the wires coming out so oil wouldnt get in anymore ive put 9600 miles on it and its holding. not sure if this is you problem but its worth a look ill post a pic when i get home

That E code is just the calibration number for the dash.
Engine codes can only be seen with the dealer diagnosis software HST.
Check the regular things like spark at the spark plug, can you hear the fuel pump run (give the start button a quick touch, then release, you should hear the pump whirring).
Check the fuses. Try swapping the relays to different positions (They are all the same p/no.)
If these are ok, it's possible the filter 'sock' on the fuel pump is blocked, or an electrical fault.
