• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

National Hare & Hound on the Zip Ty 125

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Well every time I ride this little 125 it gets better. This past weekend was round 1 of the Nationals
put on by DMC which was held at Red Mt Ca Two different 40 mile loops with loop 2 much harder then loop 1 As for the bike it works great we made every hill up or down no problem. We passed 22 riders on loop 2 to finish 5th is 50 a class out of 28 and of the 269 who started we finished 87 overall.
This Zip Ty Racing Husky Tc 125 is so good and works so well we are having a great time riding it
I was all set up to gopro the event but the morning of the race the gopro did not work I was so bump you just have to hear the little motor sing. Round 2 will be here shortly so we will try it again

So can the 125 do 60 miles on a tank? Just looked at the flier for the Ocotillo round. Loop A 60 mi, Loop b 33mi.

I have a 3.3 gallon tank and yes I believe it can BUT in past years at ocotillio nationals they had a alt pit so I will send out a 1 gall bottle of gas

you going to race it

I would, but I promised a fellow club member that I would race the 4 Aces Scramble with him that weekend. I'm trying to follow in your footsteps to inspire others to get out and race. You know him, he's always there in the pits for us, so I gotta be there for him.

really a 60 mile loop....I thought AMA was keeping things easier so more folks can ride OEM tanks.. Out there in that zone for 60 miles Im worried even with the IMS 3.6 (seems closer to 4) on my TX300. Im in regardless. we shall overcome any fuel issues, I will carry if need be.
