• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

My Father's Day gift! First ever 1st place!

Cody won today! His first ever 1st place finish. It was the hottest day of the year so far and I thought I was going to spontaneously ignite in the brutal sun! I can only imagine what it must have been like for him. But in the end, the mighty Husky TC 250 and the mighty Cody came through and gave me the best Father's Day gift I could hope for! :applause:

Awesome

should be impossible on such a slow bike.
Yeah... it was quite satisfying to watch him smoke not one, not two, but THREE "faster" Kawasakis!!! The second video shows the line of green chasing the Husky red at the finish line like a bunch of lost puppies! Gotta LOVE them SLOW Huskys!

Yes! Gotta love it. The slow TC250 smokin' the "fast" KX250F. :applause:

Fantastic feeling no matter what color your front fender is!

The question is, does Cody think the bike is a disadvantage?

I remember being 13 years old and moving up to 125's. I wanted a KX really bad (having a KX 80), but the best 125 at the time, and the best dealer in town was the Suzuki. My dad told me he'd put a green front fender on it to make me happy, but I needed to be riding the RM because it suited me better. Thanks Dad for being smarter than me!

In the end, it's all about the rider anyway, and if you can beat other guys on something they deem inferior, it will psyche them out! Most people are so fickle they forget it's about the rider anyway. Who knows, maybe you'll start seeing a bunch of "slow" TC 250s popping up at his races!!

Sounds like an awesome Fathers Day. Congrats to Cody for a job well done and congrats to Dad for bringing him up right.

Well that will be a great fathers day memory! Congrats to Cory and the Husky. I was goign to ask a few days ago about how Cory was doing but this pretty much answered that question. Looks like the slow 2010 TC can get the job done, ENJOY.
