Just wanted to post up my current project. Unfortunately I inherited my brothers 2007 TE 250 when he passed so I'm keeping this bike for sentimental reason.
My brother bought it new when I talked him out of buying a KLX 250 as he want a street legal dualsport. He barely rode it so the bike has under 500 original miles on it. When we picked it up from the dealer we went straight to my house and de smoged it and installed a JD jet kit. My brother later had the suspension lowered 3"
This bike has sat around all its life so I have gone through everything. Changed all fluids and filter, cleaned carb, replaced AP, new air filter, new intake boot and manifold (rotted out, weird) lubed linkage, swing arm, grips etc...
Oh I added a full TC Ti exhaust and some other little bit of bling too. Lol
Last thing was I had the suspension brought back to stock ride height along with being sprung and revalved for me by a member here. Should be a fun bike and will fill the gap in nicely with my current fleet.
