• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Forget the Black Friday camp out in line to wait for a store to open at 5 a.m. deals, I'd rather ride on a White Friday adventure. So we headed out and found some snow to play in  Ride or shop? I'd rather ride than shop any day of the year, even if it is Black Friday

That is a mighty fine looking couple :)

I'll bet you did not have to travel too far to get to the snow, it is cold.

Yes indeed. These latest storms brought tons of snow up in the mountains. I'll bet
20 minutes up Hwy 70 from Chico or Oroville, I should say would be close.

The snow was about half an hour away if you drove but it took us more then an hour to ridge hop to the snow. We ride the TE's as little as we can on the pavement but do ride from the house most of the time. Dirt bikes with license plates, gotta love them! The 310 and 510 love the dirt, and snow!

The ride claimed the glass lens on my BD headlight. I guess it got to hot being covered in mud spray. Wiped off the lights and plates at the pavement and saw my lens was cracked to schit. Bummed me out, but I never have liked the look of the BD light on my Husky. Looks to XR like imo, Blah! I will be replacing it with the TT X2 DS light. Those look good with the Husky graphics!
