• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Done. Were building them now. Should have some end of the week or so.

Please forgive the rough prototype parts and wrong bolts. It was being evaluated for strength not looks :D

Work well on a TE250 too? I am assuming the TE 250/450/510 are all the same, but I've seen the 610 and smr ones and they were quite different so I thought I'd ask.

That poor bike has some miles on it, I think it's time for a new one...Nice job on the Kickstand, I was wondering if there was going to be welding involved.

I love this bike and it has a lot of miles left bro! I like it so much I'm not in a huge hurry for a 09. It's been the best bike I have ever owned.

No welding, completely bolt on.

isn't it funny we all say "best bike i ever owned" untill
we get the next one? i heard this from you about
6 bikes ago. but your right i still love my 2006 TE250
best bike i ever owned!.
great job on the stand, long time coming buddy

Bump...will this work as a better replacement for the TE's as well?

Dunno, need to mount one up to the TE and make sure the stock stand mount is not in the way but i think it might be. Anyone want to post up a pic of the TE stand area? I don't have a TE around right now.

Here are 2 quick pics(no comments about the bike still being dirty from the Hammer DS run this past weekend):D

Let me know if you'd like a different or cleaner angle.

Not going to work on that as the stock bracket is in the lower mount area. I guess if you really wanted to you could cut off the stock bracket.

Ah, now that you say that and I look back at your pics, I see what you mean. The stand looks very nice though and if I had a TXC, I'd be all over it! Thanks for looking.

I'll work on a better kickstand for the TE's soon.

- One guy dislikes his so much he wants to cut the tab off and use mine.

What is the price going to be?

Email me at Motosportz please.

Did a ride this weekend and it is so liberating having a stand. Funny how something so simple can add so much :D

Since my stock tab is busted will it work on an '05?
