• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Motorcross at Rynoland

Husqvarna
Pro Class
This weeken i went up to Rynoland in Anza Calif for the last round #8
of the AMA summer motorcross series. All the other rounds were at other tracks but i just love Rynoland so i had to go .Instead of riding the track on sat i went and rode the off road track which is all singletrack in the trees.I have not done a real motocross race in over 10 years .I took my CR 125 but i also just purchased a used WR 250
so why not try it also.Well for Sundays first moto i get 3rd overall and 3 place in the 50 a combined class.I had the 125 pinned all the way around except for the big jumps still need to learn how to fly.For the second moto i said i will try the 250 which is bone stock so what better way to find out what it needs .Well we get the hole shot and lead for about 1/2 a lap but finish 3 again .This 250 is fast and with a little set up might just replace the 125 Once again we were the only Husky
there so we answered alot of questions about the bikes .Anyway this motocross racing is good pratice because next month i will try my first
WORC race at Glen Helen maybe on the 250
PS there was a TV crew there for reality show and they filmed
a lot of the races

you guys really want me dead!! I already have a bad valve (just like an 04 Husky)!!!

No one wants anyone hurt... it was a joke...

Just wanted to make that clear because things can easily be misunderstood via the written word, especially with so many people that do not speak English as their primary language...
