  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Anyone know the part number of the Motion pro cable for the WR300 with a lectron carb? Got the wrong one with my carb and kinda need to get one asap. Thanks
 
Just packed up old cable and noticed it came direct from Lectron. Kelly is out till Thursday I believe, that is way I was asking. I'll just give the boy's at Lectron a call tomorrow.
 
Call Lectron. I ordered mine directly from Lectron and ordered a special fitting for the carb end to make it work.
 
Called Kevin at Lectron this A.M. I had the T3 cable it's suposed to be the factory replacement cable but it's really short (maybe for the 125 er something?? 3-4 in shorter than factory cable?). The other cables where on back order and he's getting them today. He's sending me the longer one today as soon as the truck gets in. Dude was really cool and helpfull. Makes me feel better about spending $300 on a carb when you get CS like that :)

I'm back now. Glad he got you sorted out. Kevin is great peeps and always VERY helpful.

I haven't installed my Lectron w/T3 cable on my WR125 yet. Will post comments when done.

I don't know what it is for the 300, but I got MP T3 part number 10-3001 with my Lectron for my WR125. The T3 measured 42-1/2 inches end-to-end.
