• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Me, Motosportz, and the future...

Congrats on the job with TT, Kelly! I'm sure there is plenty of "testing" required with it as well;).

I haven't been around much the last few years due to life stuff and retirement however, I've finally been able to get back to the bike a little bit more each day this month. It's got a ton of Motosportz DNA on it! Damper, F/R disc guards, awesome beat up skid plate, fork bleeders, a pile of those good Moose air filters, Motoz tires. Good memories associated with all of it! Lovin my TT Voyager as well:thumbsup:

Take care!

Greg

Long time Greg!!! Need to meet up for a ride again sometime. Thanks for all the support in the past.

Great to hear from you Greg.
I have wondered how you were doing.

I just got the TT tour from Kelly, really cool place. Been there probably 50 times and had no idea how much they had going on, cool to have Kelly on their team. I have been involved in some testing for them over the years and they always provide top notch customer service.

They are also very good about product donations for our trail work parties, it is nice to hand people some swag after a day working on trails.

Braaaap

Later,

Late to this one ..... but congrats Kelly on what looks like a great job!!

And make sure you leak all the goodies that TT will be releasing on here first!!

PS. I'm not in love with PDS as compared to linkage...sure is, as you say, EZ to pull them out though!!

I am surprised the bike in the back of your work truck is not a BETA. Seeing as the BETA's are the (only?) bikes that come from the factory with Trail Tech instrumentation. :naughty:

Nope we are OEM for KTM (freeride only right now), Husky (pretty much all of them) Beta, GG, Sherco, Fantic. Trailtech owner likes KTM 350 and 300 cuz he can get them for a deal, use them for a year and sell them for prtty much zero loss. Smart. I do want a Sherco though.

Really! I serviced my remaining orders the then stopped taking them and pointed people to Lectron months ago. You placed to with me directly? Was this via Paypal? I'll look and see what up when I get home.

You sent a paypal payment request on Oct 16 & I payed same day.We emailed a few times about it.

I sent you an Email a few hours ago, working on your refund. VERY sorry I dropped the ball on all this.

Kelly

Congrats Kelly, Just ran into this post after looking to place another order on line and got shut down at the site.
I'm Changing from my 2011 TE310 to a 2013 TXC310 and need another shark fin. Any chance there is still one kicking around? Don't care what color.
Thanks!

JP

Hi Kelly, looking to get a lectron for my WR300,I get the impression your not doing them any more,do I have to go through Lectron direct? If so do you have a contact that'll know the set ups for these models?

Cheers

I just went to your website to order some parts and see its shut down. Came on here to see what's going on. Nice, and good luck!

Im imbarrassed :notworthy:. Have been here for 8-10 years and have missed this thread. I own a Motosportz steering damper in condition AS NEW. Bought for for a few bucks on e..y 6-7 years ago but never mounted it. Did try one though as my best friend had one on his GasGas. Loved the easieness compared to my Öhlins and thats why I bought it. This thread reminded me of what I have stored in the garage. Will mount it ad ride Motosportz this year.
Cheers from Skellefteå in Sweden .
