• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

On the surface, this MCX brand seems to be a true Filipino bike. Not 100% sure it is built or designed here though. But the company HQ is in the Philippines.

Paril, where this bike stays, has a trail that is being graded \ re-built as we talk here ...Looks like a high-speed GP type track now ... Probably about ~1\2 mile long up the side of a mountain; a little twisty but mostly speed :) ...

I'll try to get the owner of this 250cc bike over there and we'll have a real look at this bikes' performance and not just some glossy pics copied off the web.

This bike is ~120,000P (~$2,800.00) ... At this price, I think this bike might hold together, but I'll let the owner do the talking ...

Standard size 18 and 21 inch tires.

Not sure what material that frame is made out of ... It didn't look like ALUM today...

Not taking any chances so I'll be taking the 08 WR250 over first :) ... There is a small river by the owners home with a bridge about ~50 yds long over it ... This might be a good place for a drag race :) ... I'm thinking the locals already know after today that I'll be back.... There are always a few guys there drinking beer ... I'll fit right into that crowd.
