• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Marzocchi has closed it's doors.

Chilly is reporting that they have closed for good.Wonder how long you can still get parts? Factory said they would provide thru the end of the year. ......

If it's true, it's bad news for Italian and euro bike companies, like AJP. I was hoping for some sweet zokes on the new pr7

man..that sucks. I have the PFP 48's in my KYB tubes. Wonder what all this means when it comes to getting parts etc...??

No kidding. WP would be the last I'd pick, but as powerful as they are I wouldn't be surprised.

Mine might be trashed tomorrow but I've only needed 1 part with ~6 3 bikes running them a several few yrs and don't expect to need a part unless I bust them up ... With that said, if I do go inside them, I'll keep this in mind ... The 1 part I needed was my fault and the bent part is still working ... I'm not sweating this just yet ... Just business it sounds like to me ... Huskies run WP today ...

And yes when I was in the work force, I've been told my services are not needed anymore and that always worked out for me also ... Hitting the hay now ..Got another big day starting early AM with the stock Marzocchis KYBs leading the way ...

Correct ... on the bike count above ... I like the stock KYBs and they will be leading the way tomorrow ... Its's late here ...Good night to all in my time zone ...

my dads titan [fake Harley] had them they show up on a trials bike now and again but if theres no more zokes i bet we will start seeing more of'em

I do know what a Christini bike is and thought the dirt bike riding world might go that 2-wheel drive way but apparently not .. Never ever heard of the fork brand you guys are talking about.

In most cases, not all cases, any good technology\idea is not easy to eradicate .... I'll use 2t dirt bike engines as my example there and would not be surprised to see Marzocchi clones or someone buy what technology they have ... But maybe not as the Japan bikes and SP see something other and they drive our dirt biking world pretty much. (Looks like a good point to get off this one.)

Maybe Volkswagen will pick up the slack, like they've done with the other companies that Tenneco ran into the ground
