• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

After the sale of the Husqvarna Motorcycles Pierer industries AG , the first course is undergoing change, also on the staff. Husqvarna Motorcycles as well as the team of OmniMoto.it, would like to thank the man who for years has organized the tests and trials bikes, provided press releases and much more. since April 12, 2013, Martino Bianchi , after 21 years in the role of Press Office and Racing Activities Coordinator , leaves Husqvarna for a new professional career. To him, Husqvarna Motorcycles has numerous victories, won in years during his time in the sports sector. We wish Martino many other professional achievements.

Had the chance to meet him several times, he was always willing to talk about the bikes and very friendly. Sad to see him ousted.

This is the end of an era with husky that stretches back to the days of jacky martens and the world champs of the early 90s. Perhaps he will end up back at mv augusta / cagiva?

Reports say that Bianchi is now a crew member of the HRC Rally team.
add from Martino himself via FB. oggi è il mio ultimo giorno in Husqvarna dopo 21 anni. Sono stati anni molto belli, intensi ,e che non dimenticherò mai. Grazie a tutti per la collaborazione, a tutti i colleghi giornalisti, i piloti , i Team e tutti i fans che hanno nel cuore questo grande marchio, Hi all ! My non pro translation Today is my last day with Husqvarna after 21 years. Those years were beautiful, intense and can never be forgotten Thank to all for for collaborations, with all the journalist colleagues, the riders, the team and all the fans that have their hearts in the great brand, che mi hanno sempre seguito e ………che sicuramente continueranno a farlo.

Bummer. Whatever. Someone will fess up some money and CAGIVA or something like that will be born again if they try to shut them out.....Sit back and watch it unfold over the next 6 month's..............

I vote for Va-giva as the new bike company name.

contraction of Varese and Cagiva coming out of the same original Cagiva plant in Varese.
