• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Mammoth MotoCross 2011

Hits the tree at 2:02 in Moto 1.. I saw Dubach railing Glen Helen at the World GP.... he is fast too!!!

I'm heading down there Friday for a 10 day stay. Will be at the track all weekend..look for for ny Bills Motorcle Plus Husky t shirt

they have ty davis' equipment listed as OTH....WTF!! They didnt want to embarrass the rest of the class for gettin smoked by a husky???

The Zip-Ty Huskie truck is huge and they have a premium spot. I don't think I saw one privateer on a husky so they are the OTHER guys

ETA

Think they have a 2 stroke Challenge race this weekend. I'll be curious to see who races...maybe Ty or another will take a 300 out there.

Cory Graffunder is registered for practice Thurs.

3X baby Jeff Ward!! Love that guy!! MX, SM, INDY CARS. That guy is amazing among the other amazing "old guys"
Maybe Bondo for the young Pro classes and 2 stroke challenge this weekend??

Saw Graffinder, Lanza, and Bonds practicing today. They are the 3 scheduled to race on the weekend for Zip-Ty.

Ryno was practicing as well as Robbie Bell. The girl dRiving the bus tried to give us a thrill on the ride to the course

Lanza got around 24th in the 250 PRO.

once these riders sort themselves out on the first 2 laps the finishing order is nearly set.

Ryan Hughes won the 2 stroke FMF Challenge.

Justin Bogle won the 250 Pro

There was a Junior rider out there, Cole Safford, on a 125 Husky and Ty and another Husky team guy were helping him. He didn't make the final.

Bobby Bonds and Cory Graffunder race 450's tomorrow.

A guy in a bear suit was sneaking around in the spectator area with humorous results....no brown pants tho'

I must have had the same driver. She bottomed the bus so hard I almost hit my head on the ceiling. I loved her!

Good racing today, for sure. Did you see ryno and laplaglia rolling on the ground after the 2 stroke final?
Looked like a cat fight.

Didn't see that.

Ryno passed him early and pulled away.

What was the issue?

After watching that.....Ryno might want to brush up on fight skills 101....obviously some deeper issues behind that little vignette....

Those boys have past issues. ML was squaking about ryan owing his dad money.
I thought it was pretty minor, but it sure blew up the moto boards.

It sure does set the stage for today though.

Hughes: He instigates the fight, calls the other guy out to throw down, gets his A%% handed to him, then acts like the other guy started it....WOW!!! As far as I see it, nothing wrong with striking at yourt opponent first, after he has already threatened you, as Hughes did to Lapaglia...Take it to him....Hopefully Hughes got 86'ed from the place....

Mitch
