• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Lots of new stuff coming...

We were at a bit of a stall on some of our sheetmetal stuff, skid plates and rad guards etc. this was because we don't build these in house (designed and had them built local as we do CNC and not set up for sheet metal fab) and I wanted a different supplier, more nimble and doing them they way I want. Forged a new relationship and we are all a go.

We should have REALLY nice skid plates and rad guard for the 449/5411 and 125 soon. We will also be working on frame guards and several other items shortly. This is going to be real good. Will have pictures soon.

thanks.

I'm pretty stoked to find this new resource and partnership, this is going to be good. Been looking for the right fit for a while and this seems perfect. Expect a lot of stuff to be rolling here shortly.

I'm down for a 09 WR125 skid plate!! If ya want I'll send you my Scorpion WR125 skidplate so you know what not to do****************************************

They were supposed to fix the fitment on their site. It fit's 07-08. If ya got an 09 you'll need to drill all the holes over 3/4inch toward back of plate(give or take) also the width of the mounting bracket is off to straddle the front frame tubes. The little mud guard don't fit between frame rails. I used it for a year and it was better than nothing but I'd rather a good fitting plate built for my bike. It was listed for an 09 when I bought mine.

what would the chances be of getting an oil cooler / resavoir for the TE449/511?
I do a lot of dirt and fire roads and even pavement and a three hundred mile day isn't extrordinary for me which means oilchange every ride:(
Or possibly during the ride.
would be nice to get at least 600mi for an oil change.

I think it is a great idea but not my field of expertise and not interested in the liability associated with changes to the motors oil supply. Sorry
